GSL in pursuit of excellence in 2007 achieved the following recognition.

The British Safety Council award only forty Swords of Honour internationally each year and 4 prestigious swords were awarded to HM Prison Rye Hill, Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centre, Rebound which manages Secure Training Centres and GSL at the Met Office who were also awarded IiE. The British Safety Council 5 Star awards were received at Manchester Magistrates Court, GCHQ, Oakington Immigration Removal Centre and Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital Oxford.
Investors in People continued to be important with both renewals and new awards for the first time at The Met Office, Medway Secure Training Centre, Oakington Immigration Removal Centre, AccuRead and GSL Medical Solutions.
GSL Patient Transport Services (PTS) in Surrey together with GSL PTS at St Georges Hospital London attained ISO 9001:2000. GSL Managed Services retained this important accreditation and impressively added IiE.
