Business Excellence Awards - Midlands
Alan Jones OBE, chief excutive of GSL is an honorary governor of the European Foundation for Quality Management and the founder chairman of Midlands Excellence which is the leading regional quality body in Europe. Midlands Excellence is a charity formed in 1996 with the aim of improving the performance of all organisations located in the midlands region and under Alan’s leadership this successful body created the Investors in Excellence standard in 2002.
Investors in Excellence is now a not-for-profit subsidiary company of Midlands Excellence also chaired by Alan and this exciting standard is enjoying rapid take up not only in the midlands region but also throughout the United Kingdom.
