It is GSL’s policy to encourage employees to remain with us for many years and to recognise their length of service and loyalty.
Awards made for long service and apply to all permanent employees directly employed within GSL:
- 5 years: ball point pen and certificate of length of service
- 10 years: crystal bowl and certificate of length of service.
- 20, 25, 30 and 35 years: gift to the value of £300, chosen from brochure and certificate of length of service
Each business unit arranges an awards presentation luncheon or evening event whichever is deemed to be the most appropriate form of presentation. Each awards presentation is attended by a Board Director who presents the certificates and gifts.
