Secure environment
GSL provides services and looks after individuals in a variety of secure settings:
- The nature of the work done at GCHQ requires our facilities management staff to operate within a stringent security setting.
- GSL operates care and custody type contracts within prisons, police custody suites, secure training centres, court buildings and immigration removal centres, all of which entail specific types of secure working depending on the age and circumstances of the people whose welfare we are responsible for.
- We also maintain secure environments while transporting prisoners within the UK both to and from courts and between prisons.
