Police Authorities and Chief Constables are finding progressive new ways to deploy their resources to optimum efficiency in response to the challenges of policing today.
GSL offers a range of critical services to support front-line policing enabling the release of police officers to focus on their core duties.
We have unrivalled experience in providing outstanding results and police support. We are the partner of choice with several police forces to provide civilian support staff and services that do not require the specialist skills of a trained police officer. These include building and operating custody suites and associated facilities as well as transporting in a purpose built vehicle detained people from the point of arrest to custody.
In addition we have a successful track record over more than 14 years of providing the Home Office with justice services including care in custody and court services.
We work with the police and for the police but will never replace the police.

GSL currently manages police custody suites for a number of Police Authorities which include Lancashire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire and Norfolk.
Our handling of the construction, infrastructure and facilities management as well as any services that do not require the specialist skills of a police officer frees the police to concentrate on their core activities. GSL provides care for those people who have been detained, from the point of arrest and throughout the detention process, as well as management of the infrastructure.
