Facilities management and support services
GSL provides a range of hard and soft FM services across the full array of sectors in which we operate as well as a range of other support services such as reprographics and sports and leisure facilities management.
The specialist environments in which we operate require many of our FM staff to undergo vetting (security screening) and be at ease working in security-conscious workplaces. Our FM staff are also familiar with supplying services to people living or working under stressful and unusual conditions such as hospitals and custodial environments.
In addition to employing FM staff to perform the services, GSL also employs FM management staff.
Joining GSL’s workforce
GSL are experienced in dealing with contracts where the staff transfer to us via TUPE or via a combination of TUPE and the newer Retention of Employment (ROE) model. Therefore, as well as being able to effectively recruit and select staff for our contracts, we are also able to successfully undertake the socialisation process required to smoothly assimilate staff from our clients into our workforce.
