Generic skills training
Inland Revenue
Since 1999 we have held a framework agreement with the Inland Revenue to deliver a broad portfolio of generic skill courses. Essentially we are providing a skilled pool of design and delivery experts to augment the Revenue's own internal team.
This arrangement helps the Inland Revenue to better manage peaks and troughs in demand and allows its own staff to focus on strategic or specialist activity. Because the agreement is broadly written the Revenue can call upon consultancy support from us for one-off projects at very competitive rates.
HM Customs and Excise
The framework agreement for the Inland Revenue was also drawn up to include services for HM Customs and Excise. To date we have managed the course administration function for HM C&E and organised, invigilated and marked technical examinations.

Defence Business Learning
Through an innovative inter-departmental arrangement, the Inland Revenue framework agreement was opened up to the Defence Business Learning arm of the Ministry of Defence in November 2000. GSL deliver a wide range of courses nationally through DBL's regional training centres in London, Bath and Glasgow.
