The aim is to provide NHS Trusts with an efficient, professional and caring patient transport services collecting and transporting patients from their place of residence to and from the Trusts sites or other hospitals after discharge or following daily treatments.
GSL commit to the following objectives:
- A reliable and efficient no emergency patient transport that meets the quality standards and operating requirements of the Trusts and their customers and users
- A service that is sufficiently flexible to meet the changing needs of the Trusts and the Trusts customers
- Professional fleet management and working schedule including the reliable and effective maintenance of vehicles
By achieving these objectives GSL aims to provide comprehensive and seamless patient transport services using properly trained and multi skilled staff.
Vehicles
The vehicle fleet of PTS ambulances are fitted with ramps or tail lifts and a flexible internal layout to provide for a safe transport of all categories of patient plus estate cars capable of conveying patients and storing wheelchairs.
All our vehicles comply with European wide CEN regulations.
All vehicles are covered by a comprehensive service agreement and are designed for one purpose the safe transportation of patients.
